Alice In Wonderland Inspired Makeup Look

disney alice in wonderland inspired eye makeup look

It’s been quite a while since I used coloured eyeshadow! I’m generally too busy and rushed for time to put much effort into my makeup while on my days off I tend not to wear it at all. Looking through my mass of eyeshadow though, I realised I should probably get some wear out of it. I’ve started simple, doing a basic, rather wearable look inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Her Disney Traditions figure is actually sitting on my desk right now, a gift for my best friends birthday (but shh!), which made me remember how much I love the film. As a kid I remember thinking the pansies in my parents garden would sing to me. No matter how many times I sang Golden Afternoon to them though, they didn't *sad face*.

I used a light blue in the crease to reflect the colour of Alice’s dress, blended in with white and finished with a flick of black eyeliner. Simple yet pretty. Please excuse my bottom lashes looking a bit spider-like.

Products:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance, Sugarpill Tako, Inglot Matte 369, UD 24/7 liner in Zero, Collection Felt Tip Liner, Barry M White Khol Liner, Benefit They’re Real Mascara, Anastasia Brow Whiz in Ash Blonde.

Finally, have a picture of me and some of my friends with Alice during my Disney program this summer at the 1900 Park Fare Character Breakfast! She’s one of my favourite characters to meet in the parks!

When was the last time you saw Alice in Wonderland? Who is your favourite character from the film? I think mine have to be the Mad Hatter or the Cheshire Cat!
