Christmas Listing *hint hint*

Hey lovelies! I thought for todays post, I would do a little Christmas/wish list for things I'm wanting at the moment. I don't really write Christmas lists anymore, as i love surprises, but there's a few things I am wanting, and will probably buy most of them after the holiday season anyway ^_^

Christmas List

Laptop
I'm actually going to be getting one of these from my parents this year (this exact model)! I already have a desktop, but this will be more handy for when I have to go home and want to do uni work on the go!

Urban Decay Book of Shadows 4
Even though the colours aren’t that original, I really want this! I love collection Urban Decay pallets and WILL have this eventually.

DKNY Be Delicious
One of my favourite scents. I don't actually have this, but every time i pass a fragrance counter I cant help but cover myself in it.

Twin Lens Reflex
I wish I could afford a Rollie! A less expensive equivalent would do hehe! I love medium format, so having one of these “cheaper” models would enable me to shoot on the go, wherever I'm going.

Arwen Evenstar Pendent
I would LOVE this necklace! I’m a massive Lord of the Rings fan, and would kill for any merch to be honest! This most of all though, its so beautiful. A Song of Ice and Fire, Ledged of Zelda and more geekery along them lines would be a welcome sight under the Christmas tree!

Bento Box
Isn’t it cute? I've been eyeing these up in Paperchase for months but have yet still to buy one. They would be perfect for me to throw in some pasta or noodles when I go to uni or travel.

Starwars the Old Republic
I am dying to get this game! Its an Online RPG which is out on the 20th. Being a 3 year Warcraft geek, its time to have a gander at something different! Hello Jane the sith!

Super Mario 64 DS
This was one of my favourite games on the Nintendo 64, but alas I rarely play it anymore due to my games console being back North. Of course the DS version just cant beat the original, but I’ll have a great few weeks playing it.

What have you asked for this Christmas?

NOTD: Festive Green Nail Look

I do love a good “nail art” look, but having the attention span of a 5 year old doesn't work in my favour when it comes to painting my nails. I usually rock one bold colour, this look being a prime example.

I did something a little different in this case though, having picked up some “Perfect 10 Nail Art Stickers” from savers earlier this week, I thought I’d glam up an otherwise standard nail. These are perfect for someone who had an unsteady hand, or a small attention span, but wants something a little different.
Of course green is quite a "Christmassy colour in itself, so paired with a slightly accented ring finger, it gives a great finish for a simple everyday festive look.

November Favourites

Its finally December! Which calls for a monthly favourites post. I cant believe how fast November went. I went home for 9 days for my sisters 18th, and I’ve seriously been wanting to hope on a train back since I set out on my journey back to uni. Only one more week and I'll be there again! Yey! So without further ado, here's what I've been loving this month. All of this I happened to actually buy in the time I was up North too! I’m going to be doing a haul post in the next few days, twas a great week for shopping.

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Light

I was in dire need of a new powder, wanting to try a new one but also needing a new one since my ELF Complexion Perfection ran out. Having heard a lot about the MAC MSF Natural’s, I picked one up. This is pretty perfect for me! Brightens up my complexion without being heavy. I’m not going to write too much about this, as I will do a proper review in a dedicated Face Makeup post coming up in the next few weeks.

Vaseline – Crème Brûlée

Vaseline is my total Lip Balm HG. I always have a tub of it on my at all times, no exceptions! I saw my current tin was running low, so aimed to pick up a new one when I went shopping. This limited edition “flavour” was all over the blogosphere a month or so ago, but I was under the impression it was only available in Selfridges. Lo and behold, there it was in Superdrug! Yoink! Crème Brûlée is one of my favourite desert dishes, so this and Vaseline together make for a perfect combination. It smells lovely, works amazing and fits in a handbag. Need I say more?

Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation in 02

A foundation which is my colour! I am over the moon that I’ve finally found a foundation which matches me exactly! Every single one i have EVER tried has been too dark, even if only by a little. The GOSH one i was using before this was an alright match, but still a little too dark for my ghostly skin. Again i’m not going to say too much, as I have a separate post coming up which I will talk about this in depth, but I will say that I Love Love Love this!

Collection 2000 Glam Crystals Dazzling Gel Liner

_DSC0053 (2)edit

Pretty pretty pretty! I saw these when I was on the hunt for some bright glittery eyeliners, to add a bit of a pop to a neutral eye. These really tick all the right boxes. They’re bright, long wearing and just so damn pretty. Usually 2 coats make the colour opaque and they seriously do stand out. I am 100% going to be grabbing more shades in this range. For only £2.99 a pop, they’re totally worth it. When I get a few more I shall be doing a review/swatch post of them all, so stay tuned!

That's it for this month! Of course there's lots that I have been loving [Hello A Song of Ice & Fire Series] but these are just the things, beauty wise, that stand out.
What have you been loving this month?

Christmas Favourites: Glitter

Hey cupcakes! Todays post is about one of my absolute must haves for the season, Glitter! From glittery nail polish to glittery eye shadow, to me it really brings out the magic of Christmas. I always remember, as a child my favourite part of decorating the tree was the tinsel, and glitter reminds me of just that.

I’ve really been into glitter nail polish over the past month, and my Christmas nail looks will totally reflect that. I’ve been scouring the shops, picking up every shade I can find from a variety of different brands! I can’t stop myself, it’s just so pretty.
Two of my favourite brands at the moment are Stargazer and BarryM, both doing gorgeous affordable long wearing polishes. GOSH also do a few nail glitters which are great for a night out! See my past review of them HERE.

I’ve also bought a few actual glitters! I’ve yet to try these as I need a sticky base, but will probably pick up the Too-Faced one soon. Expect to see lots of mega sparkly eye looks in this series! [Make sure to take care if glitter is eye-safe before use around the eyes]
What's your favourite part about Christmas, Cosmetics wise or other?
