See Ya Real Soon: My Summer in Walt Disney World

As you may have noticed, there has been a lack of posts here over the past 3 months! Little old me has been on a magical journey across the pond. There hasn't been any time to post during this time as I’ve been so darn busy! You can rest assured though, I have many things to share when I’m back in England next week (including a huge haul!)

This has been the most amazing summer of my life. I feel so lucky that I got to experience this and BE part of the magic. There has been laughter and tears, celebrations and tantrums, magic and memories that will last a lifetime. I also made the most amazing friends this summer to share the experience with.
The program is tough, I'm not going to lie. But its what you make of it that counts. I lived for my days off, not letting any time be wasted. I’m going to miss Florida so much! Not so much the state (darn humidity), but the atmosphere. Being able to wake up and go to Magic Kingdom. Sharing an apartment with the most amazing friends ever. Getting paid to watch wishes every night. Toaster strudel (omnom)! I’ve fallen even more in love with Disney, what it stands for and the happiness it brings.

As well as getting to spend 10 weeks in Florida, I’ve also been lucky enough to travel and experience LA, including Disneyland California, somewhere I never dreamed I would go. As I type this I'm on the last leg of my journey, sitting in a mid town New York apartment. Part of me is distraught at the thought of going home. That my Disney adventure is over. Although excited to see my family and friends (especially my dog), I’m going to miss my time here. I’ve started to plan my next Disney adventure already, abit egar eh?

Another worthy mention was that I got to meet some very special characters during Disneyland's long lost friends limited time magic. Cant believe how lucky i am to have been there for it. These characters are my favourites from my most loved Disney film. Unfortunately they are very rarely seen in the parks. I am talking about Tarzan and Jane! I was so excited to meet them. Another life Disney Bucket List thing ticked off!

Best Summer Ever. This isn’t goodbye, it’s see ya real soon <3

Walt Disney once said “I hope we never loose sight of one thing, that it was all started by a mouse”. But we know, it was really all started by a man. A man with a dream, and a mouse.
