Disneyland Paris Pre-Trip Report: 31st January–5th February 2015

disneyland paris pretrip report

The Cast: Myself & Rachael
Some background: Me and Rachael met through both being accepted onto the Walt Disney World International College Program for summer 2013. We soon formed a bond along with a few other girls, and ended up living together during the 9 weeks we spent working for the mouse. I think we’ve pretty much spoken nearly every single day for over 2 years, along with our other Disney roommate Hayley (who is unfortunately unable to take time off outside of kids holidays and instead is off to Disneyland California in April *jel*). We’re both pretty Disney obsessed and cannot wait to get back into the Disney bubble. Rachael also bought a selfie stick for the occasion (which wont be used during the parade and Dreams of course). Just thought i would point that out, haha!

When: Saturday 31st January – Thursday 5th February 2015
Where: Disney’s Santa Fe

Day 1: Arrival
We have an afternoon flight from Manchester to Paris and will be staying in a hotel near CDG for our first night. We booked our flights separate and it worked out cheaper going the day before and staying in a hotel in Paris for one night, plus it gives us extra time in the parks on the 1st! This evening we plan to check out the nearby area, pick up a few food bits and get an early night.

Day 2: Check in
Up bright and early to head for the airport shuttle to Disneyland! If our room isn't ready we plan to get reception to mind our bags then head straight into Disneyland Parc! We’re going to ride the Phantom Manor first (its my tradition) then take a train ride around the whole park to get our barings and just do some general exploring. Then its popping over to studios to eat at Restaurants des Stars using our meal token, before doing a little more exploration/riding what we feel like. Then its back over to Disneyland Park to catch Magic On Parade and Dreams!

Day 3: Celebrate the Magic
Our first full day in the parks! Breakfast at 7am in Santa Fe then off to extra magic hours and to hopefully, to photograph an empty Disneyland Park! We shall park hop today, spending the morning in Disneyland Parc then heading over to studios around 10-10:30 so we can catch Stars in their Cars meet and greets, with no real plan for the day other than a dining at Annette's in the evening. I'm not sure what time its open until as we’re only booking stuff when we arrive on the 1st, but preferably we want a time after Dreams. We shall hopefully spend abit of time exploring Disney Village too.

Day 4: Le Paree?
As Rachael has never been to Paris, i suggested that we head into the city one afternoon to do some sightseeing. We plan to spend the morning in the Disneyland Park, having a buffet lunch at Plaza Gardens then heading to get the train into Paris. The main sights we want to hit are the Eifel Tower and Notre Dame. This is still not 100% confirmed, we’re just going to see how we feel on the day.

Day 5: Its just so magical!
Our last full day in the parks! We’re going to try and book breakfast in Plaza Gardens (as apparently you can swap the hotel breakfast to there), taking advantage of Extra Magic Hours. No real plan for activities yet again, but doing rides, meeting characters and doing everything we haven't done so far. I want to make sure to catch Dreams and the parade again, especially if i haven't got decent vlogging footage of them. We’re also going to be eating at either Blue lagoon or Steakhouse (we think) and using our standard meal token as part payment.

Day 6: Home time =[
Luckily we only have an evening flight, so we plan to take advantage of extra magic hours and spend the morning in the parks, having another park buffet breakfast before heading off to get a shuttle to the airport. Today is probably going to consist of riding our favourite rides for the last time, meeting characters and shopping.

We are planning to catch Extra Magic Hours as much as we can and to really stay in the parks as long as we can during this trip. We’ve heard Disneyland is pretty dead during the time we’re going so I’m really hoping the weather isn't too dreadful so i can get some decent photographs and video footage! Another thing i would like to mention is this is the trip in which i am going to ride Tower of Terror for the first time. I'm actually bricking it, but Rachael made a deal with me in which she doesn't mind me vlogging if i ride it. I’m absolutely petrified of ToT so I’m expecting to be a blubbering mess haha!

dlp planning

I have gone a little into planning overdrive on this trip so have made a little (fail looking) itinerary, mostly so we can keep track of dining and limited events such as certain character meets and shows. When this post goes up I shall be preparing to leave for the airport! I will probably end up buying data while I’m over there so check out my Twitter and Instagram pages for live updates in the parks!

Have you ever been to Disneyland Paris? Do you plan holidays as much as me?

My Skincare Routine ft. Liz Earle, REN, Kiehl’s & Embryolisse

skincare routine ren liz earle kiehls embryolisse a

After years of trying various skincare products, thinking something is working for me then realising it isn't, switching things up and jumping on bandwagons, I’ve finally found a handful of products which work wonders. Back in May 2014 I was having a lot of trouble with my skin becoming inflamed and very sensitive. It was advised that I may be using too many products that were causing a negative reaction and to cut back. I’ve been using this combination exclusively for months, and combined with my contraceptive pill they calmed my inflamed skin and successfully combat any spots. Of course i still do get hormonal breakouts on my chin, but there's probably not much i can really do about that to be honest.

First up is Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, a cream cleanser which i have been using for many years. I use this with a muslin cloth to remove every scrap of my makeup in the evening and then again for a ‘double cleanse’, while in the morning it refreshes my skin for the day ahead. I’ve found that I don't need to use a daily exfoliator or toner with this, as the cloth does that itself. When I did use Pixi Glow Tonic alongside, it was way too harsh for my skin and caused it to become irritated after a few weeks. Next up is Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate. I love this stuff! I actually use it both morning and evening, 5 drops before bed and 2-3 drops when I wake up. It really helps keep spots at bay while improving the texture and evenness of my skintone. Another bonus is that it lasts absolutely ages! After applying the oil I apply a small amount of Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentre, which when used over night has me waking up to plumper, smoother and well moisturised skin. When used in the morning, although it takes a while to sink it, it provides a great base for makeup. Finally, I use Ren’s Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask once every 1-2 weeks to give it a little extra exfoliation.

I’m finally really happy with my skincare routine and don’t plan to change it any time soon.
What skincare products do you use? Have you tried any of the products in my skincare routine?

Mickey Mouse Moleskine 2015 Diary

mickey mouse moleskine diary 2015

mickey mouse moleskine diary 3

I know that January is almost over but I just had to share my new 2015 diary with you. A pocket diary is an essential item to have in my bag, especially as I work 2 jobs so need to be able to note down my shifts & hours worked so I can keep track. I normally get a cheap week-to-view from Tesco, but as soon as I saw this Mickey Mouse Moleskine beauty on amazon, I knew i had to have it. At £12 it was a little steep for me, especially as it is only an A6 pocket size, but it was 100% worth it. The quality is beautiful and the Disney print adds such a cute touch. It’s perfect for on the go and great for someone like me who only normally has a little bag when I’m out and about. I like that the dates are on the left page while the right hand side has space for any notes or memos for the week. I tend to note down any appointments, YouTube videos/blog posts I have going live that day and my hours worked that week. I’ve also started to add sparkly Disney stickers to any “events”, because why the heck not! The diary also comes with a pocket at the back for papers, a little desk calendar and “I'll be back” clock, which is a cute little addition.

Do you have a Moleskine diary? Do you carry a diary out and about with you?

Everyday Makeup Staples

everyday makeup staples blush feathers lipstick

We all have those makeup products which we go back too time and time again. No matter how much I try to switch up my routine, I will always go back to these five products and have done for the past year or so. I just haven’t found anything that works as good and heck, why try and fix something that isn’t broken?

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
This has has so much hype in the blogging world over the last few years and with reason. I have yet to find a concealer that performs as well as this does. I’ve worn this is the Florida humidity, the sea air of a cruise ship and pouring down rain, it does not budge! I do wish it was slightly paler, but its easy enough to blend into my skin tone. I will always repurchase this, especially as it’s only £4.19! Bargain.

NARS Laguna Bronzer
I’m a big fan of NARS, and although the brand is at the top end of the price spectrum, Laguna Bronzer has lasted me a long long time. When I say a long time I mean over 2 years. I wear it every single time I put makeup on, just under my cheekbone to give a subtle contour. It blends beautifully, even on my casper-like skin tone, giving my round face a little more definition.

Urban Decay Naked Basics
The Urban Decay Naked palettes have been my staples for years, so when they brought out this smaller travel friendly version I knew I would fall in love from day one. The highlight, light brown and dark brown combination enables me to do my everyday eye shadow look while the black adds a little bit more when I want my eyes to look more “done up”. I would like to try Naked Basics 2, as this first one has 3 “highlight” shades, 2 of which I don't actually use, while the new version has only 2.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
I’ve only ever had one full size Primer Potion since I first started using it back when I was 18 (5 years ago)! It lasts ages and always pops up as a free sample or with the palettes, making it so I’ve never really needed to purchase another one. My current Primer Potion, I got with Sephora points back in summer 2013 I believe, and its still going strong. Granted I don't wear eye shadow everyday, but that's pretty good going really. You’ve probably heard tonnes about UDPP, but for me it stops any eye shadow from creasing on me (apart from cream shadows, those things aren't ever staying put on my eyes). I just wouldn't be without it!

Revlon Colourburst & Balm Stain Lipsticks
No matter how many lipsticks i try, I will always go back to these Revlon “chubby sticks”. They come in a variety of colours and finishes, are very moisturising and last for hours. I know that I will get a great wear time with a fabulous colour payoff and even when they do start to wear off, the colour stays even. I hate when lipstick fades into a patchy mess. I really have fallen for this “chubby stick” fad. The application is just so much easier than a regular lipstick and I cannot say enough good things about the Revlon offerings.

What are your everyday makeup staples?

What Disney Means to Me

To many who are not in the ‘Disney Fandom’ I am probably that weird ‘Disney Girl’. I collect the merchandise, always talk about it, visit the parks regularly and get excited if anyone mentions it. But, my love goes so much deeper than that. In todays post I want to do something a little different, and tell you about what the Disney brand means to me. Many people love Disney, have fond memories from their childhood, love visiting the theme parks or enjoy the films. I’m not trying to “1-up” anyone or be “oh i love Disney more than you”, but try and express why it means so much to me.

I haven’t always been this obsessed with all things Disney. My family aren't massive Disney Parks people, we went to Walt Disney World once in 2001 but it wasn't a regular thing. My parents pretty much think ‘Disney is for kids’. Sure I always enjoyed it maybe a little bit more than your average person, but on August 11th 2012 something changed. During the Disneyland Paris 20th anniversary, Sky TV ran a deal so that all sky customers got a free day in the park. It just so happened that me and my boyfriend, Craig, were looking to book a Paris trip that year so thought, why not go to Disneyland for the day as well. From the moment I stepped into Disneyland, my heart filled with joy. It wasn't the characters or the rides, it was the atmosphere. The happiness i felt on that day overwhelmed me and inspired me to apply for the Walt Disney World International College Program. Fast forward 3 stressful months and I was accepted. I remember receiving my acceptance email like it was yesterday. I was at work and saw that an email had come through from YummyJobs on my phone. I knew that was it. My heart was pounding and my throat had closed up. As soon as I saw “Congratulations” I literally screamed, running to my co-workers in joy. Between visiting Disneyland and departing for Florida on June 3rd 2013 I became hopelessly in love with the Disney brand. I also made some of the most amazing friends who would be joining me at Disney World. That summer was the best summer of my whole life, with visiting Disneyland Resort after my program being the icing on the cake.

That Disneyland Paris trip and my Disney World summer experience may have re-ignited my love for Disney, but it is the spirit of the company that keeps it going. Yes I love the materialistic and physical aspects of it, I love collecting merchandise abit too much (my poor purse) and must buy every item of clothing with a Disney character on it, but its so so much more than that. Disney isn’t just about cute films and characters. It’s about hopes, dreams, love, friendship, happiness and wishes. It’s about working hard to achieve your goals and knowing that no matter how hard things get, you can still find the courage to keep going. The films, characters, parks; they are all just a reminder to keep smiling and believe in yourself. Disney inspires me, Disney pushes me to keep working hard, and most of all, Disney reminds me that even the strongest of can fall, we just have to pick ourselves back up again. “You may not realise it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you,” – Walt Disney. Walt himself faced so many struggles in his early career, going bankrupt and loosing the rights to Oswald being only two of them. Did he quit? No he did not. He kept trying, kept reaching for his dreams and the result of that is what we can see with the Disney brand today.

Thank you Walt Disney, for creating something truly magical and thank you for inspiring me to always believe in my dreams.

“Walt Disney once said “I hope we never loose sight of one thing, that it was all started by a mouse”. But we know, it was really all started by a man. A man with a dream, and a mouse.”
- Julie Andrews for One Man’s Dream

LUSH Sex Bomb Review

lush bath sex bomb

lush bath sex bomb 2a

I used to be a pretty big LUSH fan back in the day, but over the past year I’ve just not really had time to indulge, much preferring to jump in and out of the shower as quickly as possible. This past week, I decided to treat myself and use up the last piece of my LUSH stock, a bold move as I’m currently on a spending ban therefore will not be purchasing anything more for a good while. Sex Bomb is one of LUSH’s most popular products and when dropped into the bath creates a girly explosion. Not only does the bomb itself look incredibly feminine, it also turns the water pink and fills the bathroom with the deliciously sweet floral scent of Jasmine. With added Clary Sage and Ylang Ylang, this soothing blend is perfect for those times when you need to kick back and relax. One of the things I’m always nervous about with products like this, is if they leave a greasy residue on my skin. I'm happy to say that with Sex Bomb, this was not the case, it leaving my skin feeling moisturised and smooth.

In all honestly I don’t purchase bath bombs very often as they are pricey for only one use, I much prefer the bubble bars, as they can last me up to 6 baths. As a gift, they are a lovely treat, but for myself, I’d much rather spend my money on something which lasts a little longer and well, I just prefer bubbles. You can pick this Bath Bomb up from any LUSH store or online for £3.35.
What's your favourite LUSH Bath Bomb?

DKNY Be Delicious

dkny be delicious

I don’t tend to review perfumes very often here, mostly because I generally only have 1 on the go but I couldn't not say anything about DKNY Be Delicious. It has to be right up there with Clinique Happy, as one of my favourite scents ever. I’ve sniffed it in store many times, yet this is the first time I've actually owned it and let me tell you right off the bat, it’s going to be an instant repurchase. Not only is the “apple inspired” packaging beautiful, its crisp, juicy aroma literally makes me close my eyes in delight. I am a huge fan of fruity scents but apple has to be my absolute favourite. Be Delicious is described as A tempting fragrance crafted with apple and grapefruit in the top notes for a crisp and quenching burst of sensations, before a heart of lily, rose and violet blossom to life beautifully. In the dry down, sandalwood, amber and musk lend their subtle sensuality. I couldn't think of a more suitable description. Furthermore, in my opinion it’s suitable for both day and night, while the scent sticks around for a long time. Another positive is that it’s not an ‘in your face’ kind of perfume (I hate getting smacked in the face with a wiff of a passerby's strong perfume, especially in the morning).

DNKY Be Delicious is available in many high street stores such as Boots, at around £35 for 30ml, although you can find it considerably cheaper online.
Have you tried any of the DKNY fragrances? What is your favourite scent?

Disney Cafe by Harrods

disney cafe harrods menu

At the beginning of December, me and Craig went down to London to visit the Harry Potter studio tour, so before we headed to our hotel in Watford, we planned to stop by the Disney Cafe for some tea. I’d heard alot about it and was dying to go myself, just to experience it really. Little did I know, Harrods does not allow large bags into the store (we had a tiny suitcase), which meant we had to pay £10 to store our bag. I was not impressed in the slightest. I even tried to argue a little with the guy, to which he said its redeemable against transactions of £50 in store. I didn't want to buy anything! I only wanted to visit the cafe! As we had gone all the way there and i was really looking forward to it, we did begrudgingly pay the £10 but I was actually livid about it. £5 would have been fair enough, but £10 is ridiculous! Way to take advantage Harrods, you money grabbing fiends.

Negativity out of the way, the Disney Cafe itself was lovely. Pricey, but we expected that, having looked at the menu beforehand. The theming was beautiful, with the show being stolen by the ‘Peter Pan Big Ben’ clock in the center while other scenes, such as Cars, were dotted around. Even the dishes had Mickey Mouse on (are these available to buy anywhere? I love them!) Our server was lovely and very attentive, even giving us paper Christmas Mickey hats to wear. We ended up ordering a pot of tea, a Ham and Cheese Crepe for Craig, a Jacket Potato with beans for me and a side of chips. The portion may seem tiny for what it cost, but I was so stuffed that I couldn't finish off the chips. My jacket potato was actually delicious and the beans have to be the best baked beans I have ever tasted. The food came to about £29 with a 12% service charge, so its more of a one-time novelty thing for us. I did really enjoy it though and am so happy that I went.

Have you ever been to the Disney Cafe?

Disney’s Fantasia by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra

Disney’s Fantasia by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra

My love of Disney Classic Fantasia is no secret, even more so with the influence it has upon Walt Disney World show Fantasmic, so when my boyfriend’s mum got us tickets to see it in concert by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra it was all I could talk about. While we do go to the theatre every now and again, I had never experienced anything like this in the past. With no idea what to expect, we headed to Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on the evening of January 3rd for an evening of magic and wonder. While the venue wasn't the most glamorous, the ladies and gentlemen of the orchestra did a beautiful job of retelling the thrilling stories of Fantasia. With extracts from both the original 1940s version and more recent Fantasia 2000. I was entranced with some of my favourite numbers including Beethoven’s The Pastoral Symphony, The Nutcracker Suite and of course, the most wonderful of all, The Sorcerers Apprentice. We also cant forget the delightful ballet dancing Ostriches, Hippos, Elephants and Alligators of the Dance of the Hours. Although I was gutted Chernabog didn't make an appearance, the new additions from Fantasia 2000 more than made up for it, especially the powerful Firebird Suite, which caused most of the crowd to jump and the Orchestra members to giggle when the loud Boom of the drums hailed the waking of the Firebird spirit. Apart from a few out of sync moments at the beginning of the performance with the film clips that were being played overhead, the music was perfectly in time. I found the orchestra absolutely fascinating to watch and marvelled at the diverse range of musicians, while listening in wonderment to how each individual became part of the overall sound.

In all it was a wonderful evening that has made me even more appreciative of classical music and the musicians who play it while also reminding me of my love of the art Walt Disney and his animators created.
Have you ever been to a performance like this? Do you play an instrument?

Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation Review

tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation fair honey 3

tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation fair honey before

tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation fair honey after

There was quite abit of hype over the Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation (what a mouthful) last year, so when I made a Sephora order way way back, this was at the top of my list. Firstly, the packaging is gorgeous and consistent with the overall look of the Tarte brand, it just has such a natural, down to earth feel. Some may find it a little bulky, but it personally doesn't bother me. What’s odd about it, is the little net sifter which stops the product from going all over the show. Don't get me wrong, i like it, but upon first using the foundation I kind of poked and prodded it with my brush like “um…is there instructions?” Now days, I place the Airbuki Bamboo Powder Foundation Brush on top of the net stuff and give the pot a little shake. Sorted. Speaking of the Airbuki Brush, I would highly recommend using this for the foundation. No other brush works nearly as good. There's something about its short dense bristles that really blends out the colour, giving an even coverage no other brush can provide (believe me, I've tried it).

The shade I got the Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation in is Fair Honey, which is the lightest shade online. The description says it is for fair skin with peach undertones, although, I have pink undertones and it looks fine on me. I’m very pale and upon first glace the colour looks too dark, but I've found it blends into my skin tone nicely, not looking too dark or weird. The foundation does a great job of concealing any redness, scarring and uneven skin tone, although I would recommend a concealer for blemishes as it is not really full coverage, despite the name. It leaves a beautiful lightweight finish, that isn't quite matte and isn't quite dewy, which feels natural to the touch. One of the downsides I have experienced is that the product does start to move around after a few hours on occasion. Yet not all the time. Luckily, its easily topped up and wont cake on the skin like some foundations can. Furthermore, it does cling to the random dry patch on my forehead so I recommend a good exfoliation and to moisturise well before application if you have dry skin. But, saying that, I do love this foundation overall and it has converted me into a powder foundation fan.

Pros: Lovely packaging, blends into skin tone, great coverage, buildable without cakeyness, cruelty free, free from parabens, lasts a long time, brush gives an even coverage.
Cons: Can move around on occasion, clings to dry patches.

Unfortunately we only have a limited shade range available here in the UK via QVC (£34) while in the US ($36) there is 16 to choose from. Sephora do now ship to the UK so Tarte is easier to get our hands on these days. I normally just get friends who are going to the US to pick me some up though, rather than making a big Sephora order and as QVC never seem to have my shade in stock. Luckily, 1 tub seems to last me around 6 months so I don't run out very often.

Have you tried the Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation? What’s your favourite Tarte product?

Warner Bros Harry Potter Studio Tour

harry potter studio tourharry potter studio tour 2harry potter studio tour 3harry potter studio tour 4

Me and my boyfriend Craig are huge Harry Potter fans. I think our generation connects with it more than any other, as we grew up with it and almost feel like we went on the journey with Harry, Ron and Hermione. Its probably my second favourite fandom (behind Disney of course) and I’m very protective over it. Its serious business! I’m a proud Slytherin while my boyfriend is a know-it-all Ravenclaw, and we take our house loyalty seriously, haha! Its a little surprising then, to know that this December is the first time either of us have been to the Warner Bros Harry Potter Studio Tour. I bought Craig a gift ticket last December for his birthday and we have only just gotten around to using it. To say we were excited is an understatement. While the books will always hold my heart, I do really enjoy the films so having a peek into how they were made, the props, the costumes, everything, was fascinating. As it was Craig's birthday treat, he got a ‘Happy Birthday’ badge and to open the doors into the great hall, which put a big smile on both of our faces. Being December, some of the ‘scenes’ were also decked out in a Christmas theme, with trees and decorations lining the great hall while snow adorned the roof of the big Hogwarts model. It was a truly magical day and worth the long trip down to London. Of course, no trip could be complete without stopping by the gift shop. I bought some Slytherin gloves and an edible dark mark while Craig bought a Hogwarts crest glass tumbler, some fizzing whizbees and a chocolate frog. Nox.

Have you ever been to the Harry Potter Studio Tour? What was your favourite part of the tour?

All our Dreams can come True, if we have the Courage to Pursue them

2015 goals

I know what you’re thinking, ‘bah another 2015 resolution post’. That may be so, but this is more of a goals post to myself for the next few years rather than a resolutions post. I’m not really into making new years resolutions. For one, I never stick to them and two, I think you can make a change any day of the year. On the other hand, many see the new years as a chance for a clean slate, an ‘official’ starting point. My life has been abit erratic in the in 2014, not really having any direction and not really having any accomplishments to show for it. It is about time I find some direction and throw myself at life fully, instead of dossing around in a minimum wage job and living with my parents.

Get a ‘Big Girl’ job
It’s about time I found a proper full time job. At the moment I'm working 2 low paid bar/waitress jobs and barely get enough hours, this isn't how I want to live my life. This year I’m determined to find a full time job which will lead me on the path to a proper career. I’m currently doing some voluntary freelance social media work to boost up my experience, and I have had an interview for a social media role (I didn't get it), but that just shows that i can get an interview and I need to throw myself into applying for positions. I just need to keep reminding myself, What Would Walt Do?

“Everyone falls down. Getting back up is how you learn to walk.”
-Walter Elias Disney

Save Money
I buy way too many stupid things. A goal from now on is to stop splashing my cash on things I don't need, that way i will be able to do more spontaneous things, such as booking a random weekends away, and actually have the money there for it. I also want to start saving up for my own place and to pass my driving test, things my skint self cannot do at the moment.

Travel
As much as I want to spend time living abroad (and i shall if I get onto the Disney CRP program), having a long term serious relationship kind of limits what I feel I can do. I know that makes it sound like I'm letting my boyfriend “hold me back” but I’ve tried to live away from him, when I worked on the cruise ship, but it was just too difficult. He’s my future and I would rather travel with him than without him. So with that being said, I want us to plan travelling more in the next few years, especially as we don't yet have a house and “responsibilities”. Managing that around work will be tricky, especially when I have Disney Park cravings every year, but even if its little trips such as weekends away in Europe to a city we’ve never been or a 2 week tour around Asia, travelling should become more manageable with daily life.

Get Creative
I have so many creative thoughts buzzing around in my head yet never actually do anything about them. Its just a whole lot of excuses from being too tired to do anything after work or I already have plans. I need to make time to be creative! I hope to use my sewing machine more over the next few months and learn how to crochet, so i can make cute things and have a hobby that isn't sitting on my computer all night browsing tumblr. I want to start getting more creative with video and photography as well. You may or may not know that I studied photography for 5 years, then did a further year studying how to teach it. Photography used to be one of my passions, but its gone dry. I’ve recently realised I don't actually want a career in it per say, but I want to re-ignite my love of image making as a hobby.

Of course there is also the cliché get fit, eat more healthily, get organized, but come on, my floordrobe ain’t never fully going away and I love chocolate too much to completely cut it out of my diet. Do you have any goals for this year/the next few years? Do you make new years resolutions?
