Liberty Square (Haunted Mansion): Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Inspired Makeup Series

liberty square haunted mansion inspired makeup look walt disney world

Welcome, foolish mortals, to my next Walt Disney World look. I am your host, your... ghost host. We have 999 happy haunts here, but there's room for 1000. Any volunteers…? If you should decide to join us, final arrangements may be made at the end of the post...
If you didn't already guess, todays Liberty Square look is based around one of my favourite rides. The Haunted Mansion. I’ve been on three versions of this popular attraction including Disneyland and Disneyland Paris’ Phantom Manor. It always seems to be the first ride I go on when entering a Disney Park and is a perfect example of the “show” aspect of Disney, from the interactive queue to the background story. Sitting on the boarder of Liberty Square and Fantasyland, the Haunted mansion exterior and costuming of the Cast Members incorporates the colonial aspects of LS in a spooky way. For my look I couldn’t resist going gothic to fit with the haunted house theming.

Using a black base in the form of MAC’s Blackground Paintpot, I created a rough shape before patting on Sugarpills Bulletproof to darken and blending out as to keep the edges from being too harsh. Sugarpill Tako is great on the browbone as it not only highlights but helps with the blending while keeping mistakes under control. Eyeliner, mascara, false lashes and some of Inglots AMC Shine 35 on the inner corner completes the look. Not including eyebrows of course, which I darkened. This is a really simple but dramatic look that's so easy to achieve. Its pretty much just about the blending.

Face
Benefit Porefessional, Illamasqua Skin Base 02, Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair, Fyrinnae Pressed Powder, NARS Laguna Bronzer, Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Amused, Illamasqua Powder Foundation 105.

Eyes
UDPP, Mac Paintpot in Blackground, Sugarpill Bulletproof, Sugarpill Tako, Inglot AMC Shine 35, Collection felt Tip Liner, Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner in Perversion, Barry M White Pencil Eyeliner, Benefit They’re Real, HD Brow Kit in Foxy, ES A613 Eyelashes*.

Lips
MUA Velvet Lip Lacquer in Kooky.

I decided to wear my new wig from Geisha Wigs and a black lace dress to give more of a gothic appearance. It’s amazing what makeup and hair can do isn't it? A more in depth post about my wig and outfit will be coming on Sunday hopefully!
Also, make sure you check out Sam’s look here!

Have you been on the Haunted Mansion? What’s your favourite part of Liberty Square? I also adore the Christmas Shop and Kitchenware store!
