It’s a world of laughter, a world of tears. It’s a world of hopes and a world of fears…
This weeks Walt Disney World look is based around my favourite land in Magic Kingdom, Fantasyland! The whole area really feels like you have stepped straight into a Fairy Tale. I love to just wander around here more than anything, browsing the shops, grabbing a bite to eat from Pinocchio's Village Haus and soaking up the atmosphere. Not to mention having a marvellous dinner at Be Our Guest, the deserts are to die for and the dining room is breath-taking! Disney have gotten it spot on with the New Fantasyland expansion, especially Belle’s Village. I don’t even have words to describe how beautiful it is. Also, is anyone else as excited as me for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train? Best. Land. Ever.
For my look I chose to base it around the original Fantasyland area which houses It’s a Small World, Peter Pans Flight and Mickey’s Philharmagic.
I went with pastel pink and blue as the combination always reminds me of It’s a Small World as well as the idea of princes and princesses. It’s also very spring appropriate. To create it I applied Sugarpill Tako all over the eye area then added Urban Decay’s Tainted onto the inner half of the eyelid then Inglot Matte 396 to the outside, blending them together until I had the desired gradient. I did the same on the lower lashline before applying a slick of liquid liner, mascara and eyelashes.
